Although self harm is often independent of other issues and is not considered to be in and of itself evidence of anything more, it is often found alongside Borderline Personality, Mood Disorders, Eating Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Dissociative Disorder. It also seems to be more common for people on the autism scale.
