While it may be a good idea for some of you to try and calm the pace of your lives while you overcome self-harm in the hopes of avoiding emotional stress, it may be highly helpful for some of you to try and be more outgoing in order to gain a greater sense of control about yourself. You should know in yourself which of those is the one you genuinely need to try based on your triggers.
