Tip Of The Day – 28th July 2020

We can often set ourselves up to get hurt, or even to hurt ourselves directly, by coming to the illusion that we aren’t as good as other people or as worthwhile. That is an illusion born of people’s tendencies to shift focus to the things that effect them the most. Realising that, well being selfish or too self centred isn’t good, someone centring their world on themselves well they do what they can to contribute positively to the world is both perfectly moral and downright smart. Always strive to remember that this holds true for you, and for those around you. Forgetting that it does for either party is a sure-fire way to end up getting hurt or emotionally hurting yourself. Both of which can and do lead to self harm.
